Unlike Germany, Central America mainly uses corn flour as the basis for food consumption. Living in Germany, I have come to realize how easily a  seemingly neutral material like flour can be connected  to the action of  being exoticized.  As part of an exploration process between body and matter, I am making a video performance in which I knead a giant corn dough with my whole body. The action is accompanied by a text that describes my relationship to distance and nostalgia.
