It is the rainy season in El Salvador, the Balsamo Mountain range is sheltered in a constant blanket of fog. The documentary accompanies the various voices of “La Canasta Campesina”, a cooperative of women from El Salvador for a period of one month, from the collection, meetings to harvesting. Narrating the story of resilience of an entire community, that through time have found specific methods of communal organisation, with one of their main intentions to fight against climate change. The film was produced as part of the artistic residency “Liquid Cartographies”, a project that intended to start dialogues between climate activists and artists in the region.
