Aguacero/Downpour 2023

Room Installation + Performance (Clay, water, drawing and sound installation)
Presented at Thealit Frauen.Kultur.Labor Bremen


We created a room installation with clay and sound, that functions as a cartographical artistic response. The ceramics are filled with water and with the toucn of the audience or performers, a sound score is activated. During the performance we all listen together to a sound composition, activated on site, that hasrecording of the different places. The need for collective listening arises as a response to the state of emergency in different territories. The diversion of rivers in Colombia, the pollution caused by extractivism in El Salvador, the flooding of rivers in Germany.
