Thought on Fluid Assemblages  - 2024
Performance (together with Carla Anacker, Edgar Lessig, Icaro Lopez de Mesa)
Presented at Radial Systems Berlin
During the performance we use several sculptural elements to explore possible activations of our kidneys. We also use two cameras that are attached to our lower backs, these show a live feed of the performance from the perspective of the Kidneys (Kidneycams). All this happens in reference to the contamination of water sources in El Salvador, due to the extensive use of agrochemicals and how these result in kidney failure for a large portion of the population.
